What is HYROX Training?
HYROX is a global fitness competition that has transformed functional fitness racing. It’s a fitness race for every athlete, no matter their training level, combining cardiovascular endurance with functional strength in a consistent but universal format. Each event follows a consistent structure: competitors complete eight functional workout stations, each separated by a 1-kilometer run, which is repeated eight times. The stations are designed to test a great range of fitness, from sled pushes and pulls, to farmer’s carries and sandbag lunges, to wall balls. This is what makes it so intense, demanding not only raw power and endurance but also great levels of muscular endurance and mental toughness to maintain pace and technique even when fatigued.
Unlike a normal gym session or other competitions, HYROX is a true test of work capacity in every aspect. The repetitive cycle of running and lifting pushes you to your limit.
