strength, injury prevention, technique, power, mobility
This is a 12-session, 6-week strength and conditioning class created to prepare high school athletes for collegiate level training and competition.
Sessions are created and led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and former Division I athlete.
Participants will learn proper lifting techniques using a barbell, dumbbells and kettlebells. They will also receive instruction to address individual deficits in strength, coordination and mobility that are important for injury prevention and crucial for getting ahead of the rest of their freshmen class.
